In a nostalgic journey down memory lane, I stumbled upon a cherished photograph from over 14 years ago. The image captures a pivotal moment in my journey with German Shorthaired Pointers (GSPs).
At the tender age of 15, those two GSPs marked the beginning of my venture into dog training and ownership. They were not just pets; they were companions on an adventure that would shape my love for hunting and dog training for years to come.
The memory captured in that photograph is vivid – a day spent at the pheasant preserve, where the dogs showcased their skills, and my family and I reveled in the camaraderie of the field. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and the thrill of the hunt.
Looking back, I realize how those early experiences laid the foundation for my passion for hunting and dog training. They taught me patience, perseverance, and the importance of building a strong bond with my canine companions.
As I reflect on this snapshot from the past, I'm reminded of the journey we've undertaken and the growth we've experienced along the way. Each moment spent in the field with those GSPs holds a special place in my heart, serving as a reminder of the profound impact that our furry friends can have on our lives.
Indeed, the path we've traveled has been shaped by the lessons learned, the bonds forged, and the memories created. And as I continue to chart my course forward, I carry with me the invaluable lessons gleaned from those early days in the field with my first German Shorthaired Pointers.
Title: Above Ground Kennels: A New Addition to Our Kennel
At Best Gun Dogs, we're always striving to provide the best care and accommodations for our canine companions. That's why we recently decided to add a few above-ground kennels to our facility.
These kennels serve multiple purposes. Sometimes, we have dogs that are escape artists, climbing out of every traditional kennel we have. Other times, we need to keep a special dog close to the house, whether it's a whelping bitch or a dog that requires extra attention.
We opted for the Scott's self-build kit for our above-ground kennels. The kit includes treated wood for the structure, a grated floor, metal roof, sides, and all the necessary hardware for assembly. The detailed instructions provided with the kit made the assembly process straightforward and hassle-free.
One of the standout features of these kennels is the door design. It's simple yet effective, ensuring that no escape artist can open it. We're excited to see how well these kennels function on a daily basis and how they enhance the comfort and safety of our furry friends.
All in all, the addition of above-ground kennels to our facility reflects our commitment to providing top-notch care for our dogs. We believe that happy and comfortable dogs make for better training and hunting companions, and these new kennels are just another way we're striving to meet that goal.
