Heartfelt Gratitude for "Utah Nakota"

We truly love what we do here at Best Gun Dogs! It brings us great pleasure to place good dogs with great people! Here is a thank you we received a few weeks ago.

Dear Jared,

I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the wonderful addition to our family, "Utah Nakota." It's been a few weeks since we welcomed her into our home, and I've been meaning to write to you since the day I picked her up at the airport on July 14, 2011.

As a breeder of Labrador Retrievers for the past 25 years, I've always admired their prowess as duck and goose dogs. However, when it came to hunting quail, pheasants, and woodcock, I realized that their noses lacked the refined ability of true bird dogs. After extensive research and reading, I was drawn to the German Shorthaired Pointer for their exceptional hunting capabilities.

My journey to find the perfect bird dog led me to Molly, a remarkable dog with a great nose and an insatiable desire to hunt. Unfortunately, she was afflicted with Lyme's Disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, which cut her hunting days short. After her passing, I knew I needed to find another bird dog.

My search intensified in late May of this year. Despite exploring local avenues and consulting with fellow hunters at my gun club, I couldn't find a bloodline that matched Molly's exceptional abilities. That's when I turned to the internet, and ultimately, to you.

From the moment I reviewed "Utah Nakota's" bloodline and spoke with you, I was convinced that she was the one. She has exceeded all expectations in the short time she's been with us. Her obedience, eagerness to learn, and natural hunting instincts are truly remarkable. While she's not yet pointing, I have no doubt that with live birds, she'll excel in no time.

The photos you sent did not do her justice; she's even more beautiful in person. Despite the expenses incurred for her vet certificate, shots, airfare, and crate, I would do it all over again without hesitation. The old adage "you get what you pay for" couldn't be more accurate in this case. "Utah Nakota" is worth every penny and more.

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for your patience and assistance throughout the process. Your involvement and dedication to breeding exceptional bird dogs are evident in every aspect of "Utah Nakota's" upbringing. I now understand why you chose "Best Gun Dogs" for your website—it perfectly encapsulates the quality and dedication you bring to your work.

In closing, I want to thank you once again for entrusting us with such a remarkable dog. "Utah Nakota" has already brought so much joy into our lives, and we eagerly anticipate the adventures that lie ahead.

With warm regards,

Mike Kantor
